In loving memory

Why we built Nellie Alert

We believed our dogs, Nellie and Emma, were safe at home behind the six-foot fence surrounding our backyard. Tragically, coyotes found their way in, and we lost them both.

One question stayed with us: What if someone nearby had seen the coyotes and been able to warn us?

Nellie Alert was created in their memory, giving neighbors a way to share wildlife sightings and help other families protect the pets they love.
